Got my pc upgraded a bit and the guy put me onto windows 11 Now whenever i downloaded the minecraft launcher it just says “windows is updating” and sits on that screen for hours Nothing is happening and really not sure where to go from here Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.s if you want to get the old launcher back until a solution is found for the new one you can goto the minecraft website and download the windows 7/8 version (even if you are using windows 10 or 11) Installing that will get you the old launcher back. But then it stopped working for some reason depending on what that some reason is, installing a different launcher might not make any difference. Is there a modrinth launcher
