Im looking for some shoes to walk on the slick rocks on the jetties Until then, the new simms flyweight wading boots are extremely light and comfortable. What kind of shoes do you guys wear
Do they have shoes that have metal spikes on the bottom? If he ever makes a wider lace up pair for winter applications i will buy another pair Motor runs without issue out the hole and up to about 5,000 rpms when i get into it it lags and then will surge back sometimes longer than others
Coil packs and grounds are all good, brand new spark plugs with good boots
Anyone ran into this issue? Chippewa waterproof moc toe snake boots for sale leave a review message 643 views 6 replies 2 participants last post by jrg_80 nov 5, 2025 I use the everlast guards and the everlast boots but the guard are not attached like the new setup they sell I got some recently and used them for the first time saturday and it was the most uncomfortable wade ever
My waders have the neoprene sock attached and slip in the boot. Just curious if the hodgmen brand boots are the only stringray boots on the market If they are i'm suprised some other mfg Hasn't come out w/some competition
The hodgmen is not the most comfortable but it is decent stuff
I personally wouldn't mind something lighter weight/softer that. I bought some mudders that were suppose to work like snow shoes in the mud for duck hunters To save weight and costs, we've used old work boots They should be at least ankle high with laces you can tighten so they don't pull off in the mud
Yea, old work boots won't last long especially in the salt But, that's ok because by then you'll have figured out what you like. Strictly wet wading boot for anyone without pencil feet They do work though, i got stuck by a ray in the bottom of my foot, watching it swim off, and walked away unharmed
