Today, i have no sound and an x over the speaker icon Windows 11 pro, lenovo thinkpad I went to device manager and tried to install a device for some sound still no sound at all Every time i left click the speaker volume icon on the windows task bar, the whole of windows hangs and a hard reboot is needed

Everything else to do with volume controls works The sound works, i can right click the speaker icon and access the controls, i can open the volume mixer from control panel and adjust the volume that way.
