I’ve been wanting to get a second monitor but, i’ve been a bit confused on how to run dual monitors Just make sure it's sturdy enough for the leaning monitors I’ve heard not to use 2 hdmi cords though i’ve also heard it’s fine so, i’m not sure what to do
If anyone could help and explain this to me that would be great. 48 might be overkill unless you're running a command center, but hey, do you This thread applies to anyone with a dual monitor setup with different refresh rates and on windows 10.the resolution of both of the monitors can be different and a nvidia gpu
If you have two monitors with different resolutions (e.g
1440p and 1080p), is there any way to make windows treat them as the same size (in lack of a better term) as if the resolution was the same, just one monitor being sharper than the other? My main monitor is a 1440p 180hz and my second monitor is a 1080p 60hz Whenever i disconnect my second monitor, my fps shoots back up Does having two monitors affect performance that much
Also i turned off hardware acceleration in google chrome Not sure what to do Best open comment sort options add a comment [deleted] • Owners of dual monitor setups, what is your preferred combination of monitors in size, resolution and refresh rate
Which do you use as a primary one for everyday use and which one is used for gaming (if you do play games)
Do you prefer to use both in horizontal orientation or some mix of horizontal and vertical? You won't have an issue with a regular setup Have seen issues stating older intel mbp with different refresh rates having issues with 2 external monitors Have a 60hz 4k + a 144/160hz 4k running now
I usually have a 32 or 34 gaming monitor and next to it a 27 crappy monitor for doing work/everything non gaming In my last setup though, 1 was curved and 1 was not. Currently i have a samsung odyssey g9 240hz 49” monitor as my main display and a 34” asus p348q 100hz as a secondary monitor stacked above the samsung I keep the upper monitor for open apps accessible while i’m gaming
This setup works great for me.
Yo, got two 27 monitors and a 40 desk here Monitors kinda chill on the edge, no biggie Gives it that living on the edge vibe, you feel Plus, the extra desk space is dope for snacks or whatever
