Wells fargo is a criminal, predatory bank The consumer financial protection bureau said wells fargo's 'illegal activity' included repeatedly misapplying loan payments, wrongfully foreclosing on homes, illegally repossessing vehicles, incorrectly assessing fees and interest and charging surprise overdraft fees. Personally, my only issues with wells fargo over the years have been understaffed tellers at the local branch leading to long waits, bad css on their website (though the mobile app is pretty good), my debit card never showing up and having unauthorized transactions on it (like how did it even get activated??). Unfortunately wells fargo is a binding arbitration bank so you will be shit out of luck if they fuck you over
