Could be glock released the 42 first to hold people over while they finished the 43 I bet its been in the works for longer than a year. Recoil comes back to you instead of flipping the gun up Good enough gun for the price
If it were a double stack id look at getting one.never gonna happen though. The worst pistol i've ever owned was a beretta 9000 in.40 short & weak First of all, grabbing the slide to chamber a round or eject a misfired cartridge or clear a jam was nearly impossiblle if one had wet or not. The r51 is about 1/4 longer and the same height as the shield w/the 8 round extended magazine
With the flush magazine, the shield is shorter
