MaryJane Larson was born and raised in Petersburg, Alaska. She learned art appreciation from her mother who was a painter, potter, and weaver. She currently resides in Vancouver, Washington.
MaryJane studied oils from Frank Covino and watercolors from Lee Baughman, Diane Maxey, Arleta Pech, Susan Bourdette, Jody Bergsma, Garv Beckman and Harold Walkup. MaryJane loves to paint her world which is full of eye candy. She uses bright colors, dancing light and realistic details. Her art is an expression of many fond memories and beautiful places she has lived and visited. Her favorite subjects are flowers and Northwestern landscapes. MaryJane is an active member of SWWS and OSA. She has won numerous awards from judges and peoples choice shows.

She has sold her original art from coast to coast and has been commissioned. Her paintings can be found in Alaska and Washington galleries. Her most recent show can be viewed on line at Artontheboulevard.org MaryJane also produces limited number giclee prints of her work.
